They will be using our gym for 3 weeks in preperation for the events!  We wish them all the best of luck !  Unfortunately some of our training sessions may need to be cancelled during this time, we will be keeping you updated via our facebook page www.facebook.com/stpancrasabc  or twitter @stpancrasabc

St Pancras coach Ray Bull with the French Olympic Team's head coach.

On the 24th of June 3 of our boys were in the finals of the Haringey Box Cup.  Jernair Thompson and Jonnie Archer both boxed exeptionally well in both the Semis and the Finals. Charlie Worley was granted a 'walkover' as his opponent pulled out, a bit disappointing for him as he was ready to box. It was a huge accomplishment for St. Pancras to have been taking part in the box cup after a difficult year of the gym being shut - we are so proud of the boys for doing us and themselves proud and managing to walk away with 3 Gold Medals.!

                              Haringey Box Cup June 2012

A huge well done to Charlie Worley and Alex L'aimable who both won tough bouts on the 11th of May on the Ruislip show! Alex had a rematch against a boy who beat him in the Junior ABA's only a couple of weeks before and showed an outstanding performance - well done Alex !   Charlie also put on a great performance and won a tough bout against a boy who had an unbeaten record - well done to them both !!

The boys have been training hard over the last few months and on the 23rd of March Daniel Troy, Charlie Worley, Ricky Redhead, Alex L'aimable, Jordan Joseph and Jernair Thompson took their hard earned skills to Denmark to take part in the Hvidovre Box Cup. They competed against some very talented International boxers and returned home with 2 Gold Medals.. Well done to Alex and Jernair.! A huge well done too, to the other 4 who did themselves proud only narrowly missing out on close points.

During the closure of the club Juho Haapoja, trained by St. Pancras coach C.j Hussein, won and defended the European Cruiserweight Title (see the Finland link) Charlie Worley travelled to Finland with C.j in January to work in Juho's corner. An amazing first experience as an assistant coach!

Well done to Alex L'aimable who recently won 2 bouts for St. Pancras!

On the 4th of March Ricky Redhead took part in the Inter Borough Mini Marathon trial- U15s and came 4th! Well done to him -  he will now represent Camden in this years 3mile Marathon on April 22nd

We also welcome the return of coach Ray Bull - Ray is a true asset to the club and has been working hard with the boxers over the last couple of months - we are very pleased to have him back on board.

A big thank you goes out to C.j, Ray & Martin for keeping the team together through a difficult few months of having no gym - and to the boys - What a fantastic team!

Last but not least - a BIG thank you to our Chairman Geoff Springer who has worked very hard putting everything together and making the whole refurbishment possible. Everyone involved with the club will appreciate this for many years to come!
